The Town of Egremont was founded in 1775 and is located in southwestern Berkshire County.

It is said by residents that Egremont is a quiet town with no night life and low taxes. The town park offers recreational opportunities which includes ball fields and picnic areas hiking and horse trails and much more.

Also the town has recently added a brand new $25 million dollar elementary/high school campus complex as well as providing a long-block class-time schedule which has been attracting educators from all over the United States.
